Events
Each year a number of major festivals and special events
are held, including the world famous Shrewsbury Flower
Show. The town has recently started to honor our most
famous "son" by organising an annual Darwin
Festival. This year will also see the launch of an
ambitious new Arts Festival "Shrewsbury
Summer Season" with a series of music, visual
arts and theatre events running from June through until
August.
