I am a new customer with Linesave after moving from an Actinic Ecommerce system and I am overwhelmed with the results already achieved in only two weeks. As I sit here tonight writing this comment I have done the best part of £1500.00 of online sales.

The content management system is simply amazing and I have all the staff in-store at any spare moment working on new products and new product updates. The site is already ranking and within 2 weeks our number of unique visitors according to Google Analytics is better than our 2-year-old Actinic Site. If Shopzuka proves successful, we will use Linesave for the US, Canadian, Australian, French and German versions of Shopzuka, which we have already bought domain names and trademarks for, plus our Ecommerce site which is planned for next year.

I just wanted to drop you a line to say many many thanks for the excellent service I have received as you have developed my new website.

Even though I am ‘in IT’ I really had little idea about how to develop a really effective website. I already had a site, but it did not look right, failed to rank highly on Google. I knew I wanted something that met all the right coding standards, and that would rate well on Google, I just did not know how to get here. I set about hunting the internet for web design companies, there were thousands, so I focused on design companies that claimed to do website optimisation. I chose Linesave for a number of reasons, however the main reason was that when I search for website optimisation companies, yours was right up there in the top 5. You obviously walked the walk as well as talked the talk.

I made an initial enquiry, and was very impressed with the way things were handled from there on. You were able to show me that you had a whole host of modules ready to go, so I had the double benefit of not having to pay for development and not having to wait for the work to be done. I was concerned that as I had just had my logo redesigned, there might be a mismatch between what the design agency was doing for me, and what you guys would do, however you were great, suggesting that the design agency knock up a look and feel for the site, and that you guys would reproduce it. That worked very well for me.

I was also impressed with the online real time development facility, that allowed me to contribute content to the site whilst it was being designed, and feed back comments and suggestions to the developers, so that everything was being designed to my ongoing specification. I was particularly impressed with the way your developers did not bat an eyelid when I called three or four times in an hour to teak the same element over and over till I was 100% happy. My particular thanks go to Simon and Christine in this regard.

I had been shopping around for a while, looking for the right partner to work with in developing a website for one of my businesses. I had spoken with several web development companies on the phone, visited companies in Ireland, but all left me feeling “somewhat unloved”. I googled website optimisation one after noon, and Linesave came out top (naturally – that’s what they do). I filled out their online contact form and expected an email back in the next couple of days.

I received a phone call about 9pm that night, from a sales person at Linesave. He told me that he was in the pub, having a pint with a few from the office, before they went home. He would have rang me earlier but was just so busy, he hadn’t gotten around to it. I work very long and irregular hours myself, and could immediately relate. And to be honest, it was that straight forward commitment to the job that pretty much sealed the deal for me with Linesave. The phone conversation was only about 10 minutes, but he did more than enough to convince me that Linesave was the company to partner with in the development of the website.

An integral part of the website development was to be the inclusion of a proper discount system, which would work in pretty much the same manner as a till system in a shop. (buy 1 get 1 free, buy 2 save £2, and so on). I hadn’t seen any site with this on the internet, and so the challenge was issued to Linesave – if you can do this, I’m with you. The salesperson agreed immediately(probably without engaging the actual programmers), and so work started.

In the first few days, Ben Wake worked on the design and flow of the site, keeping me constantly updated and showing me remotely how it was developing. Tweaks and changes were very common, but no problem to him, even though I may have challenged him on more than 1 occasion.

Then John Ball started on the coding side of the site. I had speced up my vision of the discount system, and sent across to John. I understood the size of the job that I had requested and pretty soon John did too. He would probably have gladly killed me at this stage….

But, he got stuck in, and 3 weeks later, he had completed a fairly comprehensive discount system, actually exceeding my vision of how it would work, how it would look, and how it would feel to use from a customer perspective. In my opinion, a quite marvellous piece of work.

The site is now live and trading, surpassing the vision I had at the outset. And delivering what many other web development companies told me was not possible. John and Ben at Linesave were fantastic throughout the development, keeping me involved and up to date on a daily basis, and “making me feel loved”. For me, this is not a once off contract, but a business partnership that will evolve in the years to come.

I would strongly urge anyone considering getting a website developed to give LineSave more than a passing glance. I’m glad I did.
